When I asked if people wanted a forum, the majority said “yes”. However, now that there is a forum, no one is really using it. That brings me to the question: “Is there a purpose of having a forum here?”. I sure think there are countless possibilities, but don’t really know what direction to push it in. That’s why I’m asking you: how can we make good use of the forum?

I’m down with a forum or other means of bringing learners together, but I find most web forum interfaces awkward and difficult to use.
Yeah, and most people don’t like it to register before posting. I might consider allowing anonymous posting, but then I need to find a way to avoid spamming.
(I also thought about not posting a Word of the Day for a while because I probably wouldn’t have internet in Spain (leaving in two weeks), but it seems that Simyo has an internet plan for around €25 per month (5 gb limit, which isn’t bad))
P.S. I started a game at the forum

Just wanted to introduce myself, been a lurker on here for a while. Are there any subjects that we can’t talk about on here?
Hm, there are no real rules actually. As long as you don’t insult (too much) or come to spam you’re fine
