A few weeks ago, I posted a thought on the Spanish-Only.com forum about starting a Spanish book club. Unfortunately, I didn’t receive any reply on the idea so far.
The idea I was thinking about:
1. Choose a book every month (one person may choose for the whole group or we can discuss it first)
2. Get the book
3. Read it
4. Discuss it (could be done in English, but it would be better to do as much as possible in Spanish
)
The main reason I want to start something like a book club is because I noticed I don’t read as much in Spanish as I used to. The truth is, that reading really boosts your language level and that it should be part of you daily “Spanish immersion meal”.
So, head to the forum, and let us work together!

Hola. We are starting a Spanish ONLY teleconference series in September 2009. The books we read will be in Spanish. The author will be interviewed in Spanish. Book club will follow in 2010 in many cities but we are starting with the easy part: teleconferences. If interested, email me at nora.comstock at gmail.com
